Wander down into the village and explore the beautiful 13thCentury village church of St. Mungo, eat a picnic from the tearooms on the pretty village green, take a walk up in the rolling hills of the Northumberland National Park and rediscover the true meaning of quality time with one of our couples holidays. Bring a pot of tea or a cafetiere of fresh coffee out with you into the cottage garden and sit and watch the fifty white doves that roost there, along with our two devoted Aylesbury ducks, Jemima Puddleduck and Sir Francis Drake.

On our luxury retreats all the pressures of home are removed. Enjoy your choice of home cooked meals, sourced from local farms and rivers and served to order with a carefully selected list of wines and local ales from Dillies in Hexham. Choose from pheasant, grouse and partridge or from fresh trout and salmon according to the seasons.
